In all ways, today has been a better day than the last several. However, it's getting colder, and the next two are three are going to be, by Jefferson County, Alabama standards - brutally cold. Very sunny today. Our high was 90F, with a heat index of 98F.

I was up at 4:30 a.m., and I wrote 1,080 words and finsihed "Black Water (Murder Ballad No. 14)." It came to 5,275 total. I plan to put of Sirenia Digest #207 on Sunday. I'd have done it tomorrow, but we were supposed to go to my mothers to do laundry this morning...and I couldn't leave ( Read more... )

Though I somehow overslept and didn't wake until 7:30, I still managed to finish "Crotalus" this morning. I did 1,575 words, bringing the total length of the story to 9,872 words.
